The haul of laptops, tablets, monitors, speakers and accessories, estimated to be worth in excess of £15,000, was distributed to Cavendish School and The Turing School. Both schools are near to our HQ in Eastbourne.

Janet Dodd, chief strategy officer at Identity, said: “This equipment, that had already been used at events delivered by Identity, has been fully cleaned, refurbished and checked to ensure that it will have a long and useful second life. We are delighted to be able to support two great local schools.”

Turing School’s Headteacher, Sarah Doyle said; “The equipment donated by Identity is already being used throughout the school and will be enormously beneficial to our entire school community.”

The equipment was delivered by members of our logistics teams, who met with the Headteachers of both schools and pupils from The Turing School.

As leaders within the events sector, we have a responsibility to drive positive change through improved business practices. Identity has a ‘nothing to landfill’ policy and is committed to donating or repurposing all materials used at our events.
