Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI)

Over two days in November Identity helped to facilitate the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative (PSVI) conference.

PSVI provides a platform in which to have vital, powerful discussions, and this year’s summit marks ten years since the first ever event. We are honoured to be included in the journey and worked tirelessly to deliver a seamless experience for all involved.

800 delegates, including government officials and foreign ministers, gathered at the QEII Centre in London where we promoted and facilitated the event. We revitalised the branding and helped establish integration elements, such as registration portals, an official website and app, and the live streaming of the entire event.

Identity established the creative concept for PSVI which materialised into a story-line that centred the event around the survivors. Using a colour gradient reflected in the branding, we established a story-line that visitors could follow, mapping the survivors’ experiences.

The space had to be thoughtfully designed. We worked closely with the client in the curation of the exhibition, juggling 16 different artists and a variety of mediums. Identity needed to ensure that each piece of work was championed appropriately, and the survivors felt safe to express themselves creatively.

Working on PSVI was an honour. We are lucky to have such an empowered group of people working for us, and we encourage all employees to illuminate the issues that they care about the most. This truly reflects our culture; we are a group of people who value important discussions, facilitating a safe environment where we can work together for a better future, through positive human experiences.
