The challenge

World Table Tennis (WTT) needed to break into the U.S. market as an emerging sports brand in one of the world’s most competitive entertainment landscapes, Las Vegas. The complexity extended beyond simply staging an event. WTT’s established brand identity, rooted in Asia where table tennis commands massive audiences, needed to translate authentically for American spectators. The challenge was finding the sweet spot: honouring WTT’s international heritage whilst crafting a distinctly American experience that felt native to Vegas.

Approach

In close collaboration with WTT, we developed a visual and experiential narrative that positioned the event as a fusion of world-class athleticism and Vegas entertainment spectacle. Our insight was clear: Vegas audiences expect high-energy, high-production experiences, we needed to deliver table tennis reimagined through that lens. The transformation was comprehensive. Leveraging our U.S. supply chain, we constructed over 1 kilometre of truss featuring 500 lighting fixtures and 1,000 LED tiles, all assembled in just 4 days. Our technical production team managed complex requirements including dynamic lighting design that elevated the sport’s intensity and pace, whilst our creative team adapted WTT’s brand identity to resonate with American audiences without diluting its global authenticity.

Result

Together, we created an electric atmosphere and unforgettable debut that successfully balanced commercial objectives with cultural authenticity, positioning WTT’s future in the American market whilst honouring the sport’s rich international heritage. The Asia-centric broadcast reached audiences exceeding 35 million across the event, demonstrating both local U.S. appeal and international reach.
