Identity, an award-winning, global live events agency, has appointed Janet Dodd as their Director of Live Events to join their talented and diverse team. Identity has over 20 years of experience delivering an end-to-end service for events within the conference, exhibition and experiential space for blue chip companies and governments.

Janet’s role at Identity is to continuously develop and grow the live event offering, ensuring that it always meets current market demands, with a keen focus on sustainability, safety, best practise and continuous improvement.

Janet brings a strong wealth of knowledge and experience to the company working across many industries including public sector, automotive, pharma, IT, oil and gas. In her twenty-year career with M Integrated Solutions (formerly MICE International), Janet successfully delivered many high-profile government summits and corporate events.

“When it comes to the live events industry, merging the real and the virtual to deliver an immersive, personalised experience has become the norm,” Janet explained. “With recent world events, it means there is a much bigger focus on safety and security, with this being the number one priority for all events. Sustainability is critical as we must reduce the impact of event operations on the environment. Identity is taking the lead on this by identifying ways we can remove single-use plastic from our activities.”

Delivering tangible return on investment is always important and Janet notes that Identity is again leading the way in this area by proactively working with clients to identify key performance indicators to maximise ROI, while also keeping a close eye on the bigger picture.
