The challenge

Meta needed to refresh their Burlingame Executive Briefing Centre, a space designed to welcome C-Suite leaders for highly customised executive briefings. The complexity came from working within Meta’s live San Francisco office environment where business continuity was key. We also needed to navigate two distinct brand design guidelines that evolved over the two-year partnership, balancing the refresh of existing infrastructure with new brand applications while maintaining a cohesive experience.

Approach

As the strategic importance of the EBC programme grew, Meta recognised the need for a dedicated space. Our retail-quality permanent installation created the premium feel Meta needed for executive briefings, incorporating bespoke curved mirrors, fabric light boxes, double-sided divider panels with gradient finishes, and a redesigned feature table with an exploded VR headset display. We also delivered distinct zones across the visitor journey: a Meta AI Photo Booth, Quest headset home station, product display walls for Quest and Ray-Ban, a Meta Timeline Wall, theatre space, dedicated demo areas, and an 18-person presentation space.

Result

Meta’s response was immediate and positive, with Andrew Bosworth, Meta’s CTO, filming in the space just two days after completion and expressing strong approval of what the team delivered. The space now facilitates executive briefings that drive product adoption and strengthen partnerships, with distinct zones for product demonstrations, immersive experiences, and presentations that guide visitors through Meta’s innovation story. This third Burlingame installation reinforces the partnership model we’ve established with Meta, keeping both London and Burlingame EBCs fresh and aligned with their evolving product portfolio and brand expression.
